Yummy & Guiltfree
While we were in Paris, I really wanted to visit a gluten-free café and go crazy with some patisseries or croissants. Unfortunately we were on limited time, so we made the decision to forgo the hunt for gluten-free cafés and walk the 40mins to the train station. To my surprise, when we walked in the back entrance of Gare de Lyon, there was a gluten-free pop-up cafe called Yummy & Guiltfree. Needless to say, I was SOOO happy!
So I made the most of it and ordered a gluten-free croque monsieur and a gluten-free waffle with chocolate (of course!). The sales person was lovely and spoke very good English (she wasn’t French) and was very helpful and friendly explaining the menu.
The waffle was presented so well, as it came on a stick with a bow around it and placed in a cute box. The croque monsieur was made out of their gluten-free waffles and also presented in the nice box. The waffle was delicious and once I had had the first bite, it didn’t last much longer. Whereas the croque monsieur had a very strong taste (either the onions or the cheese) so I only ate half of it.
